If you’re brand new to design, we have entry level qualifications to build your skill level, create a portfolio and help you gain entry into higher-level programmes of study, like a bachelor’s degree. Our pathways can also be a great way to see if you like design before dedicating to further study. Some qualifications can teach you skills for entry-level roles or some additional skills to complement a current role you’re in.
Deepen your knowledge with postgraduate study across a range of design specialty areas. Our postgraduate qualifications will help you to acquire advanced knowledge in a particular field, expanding your previous study and work experience, to take your career to the next level.
Celebrate our student’s work
Every year, our students enjoy a unique opportunity to display their year’s work to the public with a Student Showcase. Taking their work to a public platform allows our students to get industry exposure, along with people’s awe and support.

Industry connections and research
Collaborations and partnerships are at the heart of our philosophy for learning and growth. The School of Design has strong links with industry and the wider community through student projects, visiting speakers, field trips, work placements, internships and student exchanges.
We are active in forging strong links with the international design community and our staff and students benefit greatly from the networks and opportunities created through these connections. Degree students also have the opportunity to extend their networks and experience a different culture through international exchange programmes with prominent design institutions.
