For many people, the thought of studying to progress (or change) your career can seem overwhelming. It raises lots of questions – can I fit learning into my life? Will tertiary learning suit me? Can I afford it?
The answer to all of those is questions is yes.
We offer a wide range of flexible programmes that can be studied alongside work. This means you get the best of both worlds and can earn as you learn, whilst fitting study around your schedule and whānau. Find a learning style that suits you, take advantage of our extensive support networks and benefit from the experience of lecturers who have come from industry. Plus, if you’ve never done tertiary study, you could be eligible for funding through the Government’s Fees Free scheme. A lot of these programmes are industry-specific but our Conflict Resolution programme below can be applied to any employment situation.
Our range of options also includes work-based learning programmes. Using your existing knowledge and experience, you can fast-track your way to achieving a formal NZQA qualification in record time. By basing your learning and reflection in your existing workplace, you'll recognise your skills and strengths. These programmes have monthly intakes, you can study from anywhere and can choose to learn full-time or part-time. Most of these programmes are industry-specific but our Professional Practice qualifications below can be applied to any profession.
There's then our programmes that you complete in-work; learning with us while using your existing workplace to practice your new skills. These programmes can be studied part-time and many are delivered online with block courses or in-work activities. Or we offer a variety of options for those who want to extend their professional practice in a specific industry such as Occupational Therapy or Midwifery.
Study with us and invest in yourself.
